Mohawk 4x4 Adventures Vermont Expedition is almost here...
Of course, everyone knows we'll be using a network of Class IV Roads in central Vermont, in the Killington area. What some people do not know, is we visit at least two private properties during this trip that access is otherwise extremely limited at, and they have some of THE BEST TRAILS and OBSTACLES you're not going to find anywhere else. You should be prepared to wheel with a locker and 33" tire, skid plates and a winch. However, in the spirit of tradition with this event, all are welcome that meet the minimum requirements. (Rumor has it, there is a third property on the table for access.)
** CONFIRMED!! WE HAVE ACCESS TO A 400 ACRE PRIVATE PARCEL IN THE AREA. THIS RUN WILL BE A ONE TIME EVENT WHILE WE WORK ON AN AGREEMENT FOR LONG TERM LAND STEWARDSHIP.**
Number 5 is shaping up to be an epic year for this event, exploring new to us trails and more. We're budgeting the groceries a little better, to bring you more choices and better food, using our club's new gear to make this the best menu yet. (Including non-alcoholic drinks)
Stuff our lawyers make us say* -
The trip costs $125 as a dues assessment, per adult, and $30 per child 16 or under. The amenities are free and included as part of the package. If you can't use an amenity, there's no discount. Please, come and enjoy it, eat a lot, wheel alot, wear your new tee shirts and be safe. Take what you can use from the event, it is what we can provide. If you incur additional expenses outside of the event, we're not responsible.
We have a few rules, agreements and bylaws, and our club is one of inclusivity. Our club is an incorporated non-profit business, and we have to also consider laws from local, state and federal governments. To meet all of these necessary marks, this is how we do it. To be fair to everyone, this is how you do it.
* We don't actually have lawyers, but it's an apt description. :)
